It appears that the reported demise of the Millennial Star blog may have been premature. The blog appears to be alive once more.
Best wishes to the M* crew. I hope that they are able to successfully continue their endeavor, for as long as they feel appropriate. I’ve had many online interactions with many of the M* crew, and have a lot of respect for their work and their ideas. (For the ones who I’m sure are real people, that is — which is really all but one.) I’m glad to see that they seem to be on the road to recovery from their near-death experience. And congratulations go to whoever the home teacher may be who helped reactivate them. :)
Get better, M*. If we can do anything around here to aid your recovery — mowing lawns, bowls of chicken soup, sidebar links — let us know. (I would have put “technical/coding advice” on the list, but that would just have made everybody laugh.)
Just a note that the blog itself was down due to hosting problems. The future of the blog is still being discussed. It was just a coincidence that the server went down while we were deciding issues.
I’ve noticed problems with connectivity to M* for a while, but I don’t think you guys should shut down. Even if the traffic is low, it’s still good to have y’all around.
Me too. Even if posting and comments are turned off entirely at M*, I hope it stays online just for the sake of being an archive of what was written. As I mentioned over at BCC, I’d donate $20 (one shot deal) to pay for hosting it as an archive so that all the in-bound links still work.
Geoff B and Adam G are my favoritest posters there.
That is good news. M* was the first blog that I ever read of any type. I would feel a loss were it to end. I like the bloggers past and present as well as the guest bloggers.
