Steve Evans at BCC has just launched a groundbreaking new idea for the bloggernacle: Interviews with interesting LDS figures! He’s starting with an “Eight Questions” interview with Dr. Brian Birch, director of the Religious Studies program at UVSC. The interview is quite interesting.
And as for the source of Steve’s trailblazing ingenuity . . . well, I think I can tell you this — Steve confided to me, he feels that that kind of good idea must have come from some higher power.
Why 8 questions? Do they only feel 2/3 the power? At least they didn’t do 13 questions, triggering an arms-race for bloggernacle supremacy.
Wow. I was heretofore unaware of the fact that T&S came up with the concept of . . . . The Interview.
Yeah man, it takes a particular level of pride to assert that you invented interviews. It’s not like I labelled them Eight Questions, or asked the bloggernacle to provide them. Sheesh, it’s like you’re the Greeks or something.
Steve, I didn’t see your interview before poking fun. From the post I was led to believe you were calling it Eight Questions and otherwise patterning it on T&S’s 12 Questions. (Which, I should point out, was patterned on a well-known 20 Question interview format made popular in the blogosphere in 2002.) Having seen your interview, I see my pretense was uncalled for. Keep up the good work.
