As I dressed my 3 year old in her Halloween costume for the ward trunk or treat, she asked “and mom, what are you going to be?” Oh, I’m too old for this stuff, I thought. Then as we walked in that night, I saw this 70 year-old clown and realized, we’re never too old to feel like a kid again.

This really is a great image, very much a Mormon Moment. My kids & I have had a blast at trunk or treats; and I’m always surprised by some of the adults’ creativity. Anyone know if trunk or treats are going to be in the next edition of the Church Handbook?

I did a double-take to make sure this wasn’t a certain former BYU football coach. But nope, the clown was smiling.
