Harvard Divinity School“Through a Different Glass: Reconsidering the Puritans and their Legacies in American Religious History With Reflections on Mormonism”
David Hall, the preeminent expert on American Puritanism, has pioneered the field of “lived religion.” His noted book Worlds of Wonder, Days of Judgment explores the religious lives of ordinary New England Puritans, the ancestors of Joseph Smith and many early Mormons. His work sheds light on what Ralph Waldo Emerson meant when he said Mormonism was an “after-clap of Puritanism.”

Narrator,
I’m sure that Richard Bushman would be happy for you to publicize this event. They let me know about it but it wasn’t online anywhere until Ben put it up. Thanks Ben! Now it is linked at MormonConferences.org.
Kent, I think Narrator meant they might put the audio on the CMSSA website.
