We’re pleased to announce that Geoff will be guest blogging.
Geoff is an internet entrepreneur who lives in Queen Creek, Arizona, with his lovely wife Kristen and four cute kids. Geoff grew up in the San Diego area, served a mission in Tennessee, and received a music degree at BYU (’94) focusing on saxophone and an MBA at SDSU (’96).
Geoff played saxophone and provided vocals for a punk-ska-swing-lounge band called Noisepie, which had moderate success in the Southern California area. A few years ago, he heard that Kaimi was coming to San Diego and decided that the best option was to flee the state altogether, which is how he ended up in Queen Creek.
Geoff is a genuinely nice guy, and he has a unique testimony of the bloggernacle, having experienced a personal miracle in which many bloggers were blessed to participate.
We’re excited to have Geoff aboard as a guest. I’m looking forward to reading his posts; perhaps we can even get him to sing. Oh, and for those who didn’t know it, Geoff has unique middle name. I mean, not everyone has a name that’s French.
Welcome!
Welcome aboard Geoff! I had no idea you could sing and write too. Saxaphone? No wonder …. Looking forward to your posts. Gof or it!
Thanks guys. I appreciate the kind invitation from Kaimi and the rest of the T&S crew. I’m afraid your minor typo might be prescient, Blake. I suspect I might goof it — but we’ll see.
Cool, Geoff. Hey, aren’t you involved with some bloggernacle aggregator or portal or list or something? What’s its name? The Mormon Archaeologist?
It’s a good thing my blog is lower on the MA, or else I might have missed the note announcing Geoff as a guest blogger. :-)
Perhaps T&S could be moved back to the top, if only to showcase such a stunning choice in guest bloggers. Right?
:) BTW
I didn’t know Geoff was a musician.
I’ve listened to his CD, D., and I’m still not sure he’s a musician. :P
Bien venue, messieur.
Welcome Geoff! I didn’t know you used the World Wide Web!
Geoff is the coolest blogger in the LDS blog world. Except for his wife.
I wanted to drag his wife along too, Susan, but she’s far too cool for this blog. It’s our loss, I know.
Cool beans. Chocolate ones, of course.
Kristen can’t be here to defend herself – she’s recovering from LASIK eye surgery she had this morning… But when she shows up she’ll be able to read this comment with glasses or contacts… Whoohoo!
Yeah D. — I should have been a rock star for a living. I just got a day job as a backup plan… But these comments about Noisepie have made me think a post on Mormons and ska might be in order…
